Katie Allen - MPH
For over two decades, Katie Allen has stood at the intersection of public health and integrative medicine, working to bridge the gap between traditional maternal health practices and modern healthcare systems. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis in Maternal and Child Health, she has dedicated her career to developing programs, policies, and education that address the root causes of the maternal health crisis.
Katie understands that true health begins before birth—it starts with environmental wellness, physical and emotional nourishment, and policies that support families, not corporate interests.
Why Katie Allen is Leading the MAHA Movement in Maternal Health Policy Reform
She has the expertise. With an MPH in Maternal and Child Health, Katie has spent decades working with hospitals, universities, and health organizations to implement evidence-based wellness programs that directly impact women’s health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
She has built health solutions from the ground up. As the founder of Be The Change Yoga, she established one of the first yoga therapy training programs in Orange County, integrating holistic healing with clinical care to address stress, chronic illness, and maternal well-being.
She has worked at the highest levels of healthcare. As Program Manager for UCI Health’s Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, Katie developed and implemented group therapy and one-on-one clinical services that successfully improved mental health, sleep, and stress levels—essential components of maternal and family health.
She understands that policy must reflect real needs. Through her work in hospital systems, public health organizations, and community outreach programs, Katie has seen firsthand how corporate-controlled policies are failing families. She is committed to dismantling outdated maternal health models and replacing them with practices that honor the physiology of birth, the importance of postpartum care, and the sovereignty of parental choice.
She is a unifier. Katie has spent her career building bridges between holistic practitioners, medical professionals, and community leaders, ensuring that integrative health is part of the national conversation on maternal wellness.
“For too long, maternal health has been dictated by outdated systems designed to control, not support, birth. The MAHA movement is changing that, and Katie is leading the charge—ensuring that the future of maternal and infant health is one of sovereignty, informed choice, and true wellness.
We are not asking for better care—we are demanding it.
And with Katie at the forefront, real change is happening.”
